Clear Bell-Shaped Ribbed Glass LED Bulb: Carillon Resonance Light
Design Statement
This clear bulb channels medieval bell towers through its campanile silhouette and vertical ribbed texture, evoking the acoustic resonance of church carillons in concert halls and Gothic cathedrals. The 150mm height bell shape features 24 radial ribs that mimic sound wave propagation, while the clear glass showcases a spiral LED filament that resembles a clapper—creating a "visual music" effect in performing arts venues. The silver-plated E27 base with musical note engravings reinforces its acoustic inspiration.
Acoustic Craftsmanship
The bulb’s shape is modeled after the 17th-century St. Mark’s Campanile bells in Venice, with rib spacing calibrated to 3mm intervals to visually represent sound frequencies (200-2000Hz). The clear borosilicate glass undergoes ultrasonic cleaning to remove impurities that could distort light transmission. The 7W LED filament emits 750 lumens of 2800K warm white light that enhances the bulb’s acoustic symbolism.
Musical Features
- Sound Visualization: Ribs correspond to musical notes on the pentatonic scale.
- Acoustic Enhancement: Bulb shape acts as a passive sound diffuser when used in clusters.
- Concert Ready: Color temperature optimized for stage lighting (CRI 95+ for accurate skin tones).
Performing Spaces
Ideal for concert halls, music schools, or Gothic-style churches. Cluster above stages to create a "floating carillon" visual effect during performances.
"Light as music—where bell shape and ribbed glass resonate with the harmony of carillon towers."
