G-Sun Lighting Announces Expanded Production Capacity and Enhanced Quality Control for Specialty Bulbs

Hangzhou G-Sun Lighting Co., Ltd., a company with an integration of design, manufacture and trade since its founding in 2000, has announced a major expansion of its production capabilities for specialty lighting products. The expansion, which includes new automated assembly lines and upgraded testing instruments, is designed to meet growing international demand for high‑efficiency and environmentally friendly illumination solutions. Located in Jingshan Town, about thirty kilometers from urban Hangzhou and with convenient access to both Shanghai port and Ningbo port, the company is well positioned to serve its global customer base.

The newly added production lines focus on several key product categories. Among them are decorative light bulbs, which have seen increasing orders from residential and hospitality projects in North America and Europe. These bulbs combine aesthetic design with energy‑saving performance, making them a popular choice for chandeliers, pendant lights and accent lighting. Another major category is LED Bulbs, which represent the core of the company’s commitment to sustainable illumination. By using advanced semiconductor materials and smart dimming technology, these bulbs achieve high luminous efficiency while reducing electricity consumption.

A third product family that benefits from the expansion is the Edison Bulb. Known for its vintage appearance with visible filaments, the Edison Bulb has become a favorite for retro‑style interiors, cafes and boutique hotels. G‑Sun Lighting manufactures this product using lead‑free glass and recyclable metal caps, ensuring compliance with RoHS standards. The company also produces the Infrared Light Bulb, which serves specialized applications such as animal husbandry, food warming and industrial drying. These bulbs require precise thermal control and robust construction, and the new assembly lines incorporate additional testing steps to guarantee consistent performance.

Furthermore, the Fishing Light Bulb category has received dedicated attention. Fishing Light Bulbs are used to attract fish in commercial and recreational fishing operations, often requiring waterproof housing, high intensity and long operational life. The expanded facility now includes a dedicated production cell for these bulbs, with improved sealing processes and burn‑in testing to verify reliability under marine conditions. All products, including the entire range of decorative and specialty lamps, are subject to the company’s complete quality control system that covers raw material purchasing, process control and final inspection.

The expansion project also involved upgrading the energy management system within the factory. A real‑time monitoring platform now tracks electricity consumption on each production line, allowing operators to identify inefficiencies and reduce waste. This initiative aligns with the company’s broader environmental policy, which emphasizes the use of recyclable materials and the elimination of hazardous substances such as mercury and lead. For example, the metal housings used in many decorative and infrared bulbs are made from recyclable aluminum alloys, while glass components can be reclaimed after the product’s useful life.

G‑Sun Lighting has maintained several international certifications, including CE and RoHS for its products, as well as BSCI and ISO9001:2015 for its management systems. These approvals are regularly audited, and the expanded facility has been designed to meet or exceed the requirements of each standard. The company’s engineering team has also introduced new jigs and fixtures for filament alignment in Edison Bulb production, resulting in fewer defects and longer average lifespan.

According to the operations manager, the additional capacity allows the company to reduce lead times for custom orders. Many international customers require OEM production with specific wattages, color temperatures or base types. The new lines are equipped with quick‑change tooling, making it possible to switch between different bulb styles within the same shift. This flexibility is particularly valuable for Infrared Light Bulb orders that call for non‑standard voltage or beam patterns, as well as for Fishing Light Bulb requests that involve unique connector designs.

Looking ahead, G‑Sun Lighting plans to further automate its packaging and warehousing processes. A semi‑automated sorting and boxing line for Decorative Light Bulbs is scheduled for installation in the coming quarter. The company’s long‑term goal is to maintain a balance between craftsmanship and efficiency, ensuring that each bulb, whether an LED model or a vintage‑style Edison Bulb, meets the expectations of partners in the United States, Japan, Germany, Australia, Mexico and other regions. Adhering to the principle of sincere cooperation, the company welcomes inquiries from new and existing customers seeking reliable, certified and environmentally conscious lighting solutions.
